Come along to witness how the Otahalli (a sports and exhibition hall) in Espoo turns into a miniature wonderworld for one weekend.
The event showcases the entire spectrum of the miniature model hobby. There will be cars, ranging from fine scale models to slot racing cars, model railways and scale models of ships. In the exhibition you can also see how digitalisation and automation can be integrated to this hobby and what kind of a new and fascinating dimensions new technologies open for scale model hobbyists.
At the exhibition you will meet Lego enthusiasts and members of a Star Wars costuming group dressed up as their favourite Star Wars characters.
Doll house and toy associations will also be represented at the exhibition together with a large number artisans and hobbyists specialized on fashion dolls, accessories, doll houses, Barbies, My Little Pony collectibles and vintage glossy pictures, among many others. The venue provides an excellent opportunity to purchase miniature products and materials handcrafted by skilled artisans that you can use, for example, to enhance your own dolls, to build or decorate doll houses or with other possible miniature projects that you might have.
In the course of the exhibition several work shows will take place at the stands and you will have the opportunity to seek advice directly from the specialists. A number of workshops will also be organized during the exhibition under different themes.
